Siddartha- Spring

This was an art project we had to do for world religions...I really had fun with the first one so I did three more. They all have a seasons theme, and this one is Spring.

The assignment was to take a page of the book Siddhartha by Herman Hesse and pick out bits and pieces on the pages to make a poem or story, and for this one, I had a quote in the page that I really wanted to accentuate, so I spicked it out and kinda blocked out the whole rest of the page with a man who is "on the way to himself"; becoming enlightened...dunno if it's Siddhartha...he looked a lot different than that at this time in the book...he was a Samana...but maybe this is his young self....Who knows? It's up to interpretation. XD
But still, it's all about personal identity, and finding your self.
